Make the available time visible
For a day with a 10:00 meeting, mark the meeting and preparation first. Then write a realistic drafting window and leave room for notes or follow-up. Keep “ask for the missing figure” in the task list until its timing is clear.
What this preset changes
One undated portrait Letter page uses the daily timeline layout. The task section stays on and the goal section is off. The timeline is printed writing space; mark the boundaries of your own sessions by hand.
A plan for the day, not a booking system
The page does not import meetings, track elapsed time or notify colleagues. Check that the printed time range fits your day before exporting; work outside that range can go in notes or on a focus page. Keep confirmed appointments in your usual calendar.
Use the worked example in time blocking on paper. For the week's deadlines, pair it with Workweek at a glance.
